Flooded property due to blocked road gullies

A property was flooded last night after storm water ran down the public road and engulfed the domestic drains.

Several road gullies need digging back up hill to let water run into the ditched from the road, rather than run down it and take out the lowest sitting house

  • More severe flooding as a result of this. Drains designed to intercept water on private land are being totally over whelmed by the torrent of highways water rushing down the road.

    To whom shall we send the clean up bill?
