This has just been “repaired “ in the past week and the road resurfaced 18 months after I first reported this. Unfortunately the leak does not appear to have been repaired properly as there is still water emerging from under the road surface and is still being sprayed onto the path by passing vehicles.

    The now significant water flow is coming from the BT double manhole nearest Oxford (North). Photos taken at 08.00 but there was still the same flow at 17.30 and one cover of the manhole had lifted slightly with the water pressure. There was 62 mm of rain in the 24 hours up to 21.00 on Friday 13 October 2023 in this area. This flow has been happening for the last 5 years at least.
