Road signs block view
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 15:43, Wed 20 September 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The road signs at the bridge block the view of oncoming traffic making it very hard to see when it is clear. Can a better sign be used? More to the point, when will the bridge ever be fixed to stop so much traffic building up in Steventon?

We know of the issues here, and the Traffic team are looking at what can be done, it is possible that the priority will be reversed. Secondly the repair to the bridge is a long way away, as the structure is listed which is giving difficulties to how it can be made safe.

The sign is still blocking the view of traffic going up the hill. This needs to be resolved ASAP especially at this time of year when the sun is lower in the sky which also causes problems with being able to see what is coming down the hill. An accident waiting to happen!!

It isn't an accident waiting to happen. It is an accident that has happened multiple times. People have crashed into the barriers when they swerve out of the way of oncoming traffic.
