Blocked gully causing flooding

This gully and it's neighbours has been blocked for a while but now the weather is turning it's becoming a more frequent problem. Traffic is forced onto the wrong side of the road to avoid the flooding but it's right next to a busy farm entrance so there is an added risk of an accident.

  • There is a concrete gully, that is supposed to carry excess water away to a roadside ditch, but this has been blocked for years. It neads cleared to alleviate the flooding problem.

  • Thank you for your report of flooding due to blocked gullies. A reactive cleanse of the gullies has been ordered.
