House shakes

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

Our house is parallel to the high street with a speed bump outside. Every time a lorry, bus or a heavier vehicle goes past, our house shakes. I know others near other speed bumps have reported similar experiences. Is there anything that can be done to stop the shaking caused by the vehicles?
