Potholes/Broken road surface

I have received an email yesterday saying my Fix my street account will be closed unless I use it. The reason I don't use it is because nothing ever happens. Accordingly I copy and paste below, the complaint I made in April 2014 and May 2016, which are still relevant today:

'The entire length of Church Lane, Hampton Poyle needs review for numerous potholes. They are particularly bad halfway down outside Willow House, to my property Church Farm but are also bad near the Church itself. In fact I have complained every year for probably 10 years that the whole lane needs resurfacing with maintenance to the drainage pipes and gulleys. The damage this year following the terrible winter is bad but not that much worse than the average year. we really need major work.

  • Thank you for your report. Our Highway Officer is due to make his annual inspection of Hampton Poyle and Hampton Gay shortly. We will ask him to pay particular attention to Church Lane. He will pick up any defects at intervention level for repair. He will also look in to getting Church Lane assessed for our Dragon Patcher for any further patching works. Thank you.
