Current Flow of traffic

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:14, Monday 18 September 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The junction of Faringdon Road into Larkhill Road is a busy junction for vehicles, Today saw the start of well-advertised advance road/footway works starting on 18/9/2023. The entrance into Larkhill Road today was coned off to prevent parking by vehicles - notably vehicles picking up Abingdon school pupils, this afternoon this was blatantly ignored by several cars parked in the spaces between the cones causing a queue of cars onto the Faringdon Road Traffic lights will be in place tomorrow I assume as signage is there.

This area continues to be abused by parents driving to pick up children from Abingdon school causing issues with the flow of traffic, I wonder if the highways & council would like to approach Abingdon school for comment on this issue as there will be an accident at some point if this sort of disruption continues. Of course this only happens during the school term & Abingdon school seem oblivious to the issue.
