Abandoned vehicles. On a blind bend opposite a junction

Cars have been abandoned here for months. They are parked on a blind bend and opposite a junction. Clearly in contravention of the Highway Code. Local police are advising to speak to the council and the council are advising talking to the police. Is someone going to do their job?
