There is an issue with water pooling on John Harper Road due to drains on Aynho Road full of hay from farm traffic and debris. I have video of the water pouring over the drains. The drainage along Aynho Road is inadequate and unkempt therefore water floods in John Harper soakaway drives.

  • Our gully cleansing contractor has been unable to clear the pipes to get the drainage system working. OCC will undertake further work to identify the cause of the failure of the drainage system and a solution. Whilst we are responsible for the highway drainage, the problem can be related to other service providers such as Thames Water, or could relate to a private ditch, stream or culvert.
