Layby roadworks already one week over time

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The Layby roadworks were scheduled to finish last Friday 08.09.2023 according to the sign so are already one week over their time, it doesn't look like they will finish very soon, I hope they will be fined for overrunning their permission to disrupt this main route into and out of Wantage

  • According to one.network these roadworks are now not due to finish until the 6th October, this is absolutely ridiculous considering nothing has been done regarding the timing of the traffic lights

  • So this work to provide an 'environmentally friendly' layby is going to take 4 WEEKS over schedule to be completed with further major disruption caused on one of the main routes into Wantage. This delay is not in the least bit 'friendly' to motorists!
