Dislodged pavement light
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Last year, small lights were inserted into the paths lining the river near Gasworks Bridge. Last week, while cycling towards the bridge, I turned the corner and rode over one of the lights. I have done this before and seen others doing so, and have never had an issue. However, on this occasion, the light popped out of its socket and I took a nasty fall, scraping my legs and hands. This is very dangerous for the cyclists that live around here. Could you please inspect all the lithe and make sure they are secure in their sockets?
More specifically, the light in question was the second-to-last one before the Gasworks Bridge on the right hand side when riding up the path from Grandpont.

My apologies, I meant to say the light in question was the *third* to last one before the bridge. That said, checking all of them is probably still worth it.

The lights along the path have no use what's so ever, they do not light anything up and you are in complete darkness at 6pm even with these lights, half of which are still not working! going from light into the darkness along the river gives your eyes no time to adjust. It's not a safe route to walk at the best of times let alone in pure darkness. people are walking along with their phone torches as the route provides no light at this present time. It won't be long before someone gets hurt along here.
