Light illuminting back garden

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The stereetlight on our boundary illuminates our garden. Very nice for sitting on the patio, with a glass of wine, but.... Is it possible to fix a small deflector at the rear of the light without compromising what the light is meant to do? This would make our garden darker and better for our wildlife and mean we don't have to keep the curtains drawn at night.
