The lights that are not marked on the form along Eight Acre do not turn on at night
Reported via desktop in the Lamp Out of Light category anonymously at 21:08, Sat 2 September 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Half the lights on Eight Acre to the end of the road installed by Redrow do not turn on at night. They have never turned on for as long as I moved in a year ago. The place is now fully occupied, so there is no reason that Redrow does not ensure these lights work at night. We have raised this with Redrow but have not received any feedback in a month. We are worried for winter time when it gets dark early and our children have to walk on very dark streets.

There is an electricity supply fault at this street light and has been sent to the electricity company for repair, it depends on workload as to how long it takes but is in hand to be rectified

The street lights are still not fixed and it is now getting dark earlier, with clocks going back soon. Is there any way to make this a priority. I do not feel safe walking down the stretch of Eight Acre.

Dear Oxfordshire County Council, it's been more than a month now, with no update. Is there a reason provided to you why the street lights are still not fixed. We are in the dark.

Repeating the same answer after 4 months is not an update. It is demonstration of no intention to fix anything.
