Cattle grids very slippery in the wet

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Almost skidded off my bike riding over these cattle grids in the rain. Lost grip on the rear wheel. This was on a grid on the straight and riding straight over. It would be a good idea to apply the grippy surface to all the cattle grids -currently only on just a couple.

  • A friend highlighted this to Sustrans and they have arranged for new grips to go in place before the end of March. A little late for this winter, but at least the problem should be sorted for future years.
