Sycamore walk sink hole

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Sink hole on footpath. Big enough for a foot to fall down causing injury. Currently covered with a rotten piece of log. There is nothing under this hole and goes down a fair bit. Unable to see ground in the hole. This path is used daily by cyclist, walkers, dogs and children.

  • Hole still here - it won't be long before a large chunk of the pavement disappears into it as there appears to be nothing supporting the tarmac!

  • This has been reported a number of times but still nothing done. Why not? It is extremely dangerous.

    The whole path going alongside Letcombe Brook/canal needs repairing. It's cracked up by tree roots etc and is very uneven. I have fallen there myself.

    There's also a lot of weeds growing up alongside people's fences and it is all looking very unsightly and run down.
