Unclear Roadworks dangerous for drivers

New road works on Reading Road just outside the entrance to Lower Shiplake. I live in one of the houses just off Reading Road - one of the lanes is blocked off (going in the Henley direction) it is very unclear that this is the case when pulling out of my driveway onto the main road. I had a tractor coming the other way which could have been dangerous.

Is it possible to make it clearer to residents in the houses on Reading Road which lane is closed
