Weeds and grass growing along curbs on Southern by Pass Rd
Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:16, Thu 10 August 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later
Weeds and grass growing along curbs on Southern by Pass Rd (both sides of the road). There was a lot of soil on the road after the gas works finished and it settled near the curbs. Now the weeds and grass are growing. On one side, it completely covers the curb. Can it be cleared ? Thanks.

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in front of 103 Southern By-Pass Road, see photos, and assessed the issue you have identified. Unfortunately, this issue doesn't meet our current immediate intervention criteria, so I cannot arrange a prompt repair. It has been placed on the list of Minor Civils jobs to be implemented at a future date, subject to there being no conflicting works and sufficient funds. We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in front of 103 Southern By-Pass Road, see photos, and assessed the issue you have identified. This overgrown kerbing, unfortunately, doesn't meet our current, immediate, intervention criteria, so I cannot arrange a quick repair. I have requested it be placed/logged onto the list of HATER (vegetation) jobs that will be assessed for inclusion in future programmed works, subject to there being no conflicting works and sufficient funds. We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.
