Overgrown shrubs, brambles

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 12:55, Thursday 10 August 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The footpath outside 2 Oakdene, Woodcote RG8 0QR will shortly become impassable due to the amount of shrubs, brambles etc that have been allowed to grow across this footpath. I have attached 2 photos which clearly show the overgrown shrubs, etc that require cutting back.

  • Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. In this instance the highway does appear to be obstructed  from full use. The land/property owner will be contacted and if action is not untaken we will follow up accordingly.
