Traffic lights do not change when I pull up to them on the B4031 coming from Hempton into Deddington

I use a (heavy) large motorcycle. When pulling up to the junction at the crossroads in Deddington on the approach from Hempton I am not recognized by the sensor. I often have to wait until a car joins me before the lights change. This can be a significant amount of time. The lights used to recognize me and change as they should. This appears to be a faulty sensor? Please can this be fixed. Thank you.

  • Also can report that cyclists are not detected at same junction from same direction. As reported post, often have to wait for a car to join to advance. Noted today, 2.30pm 20/08 and previous Saturday 12/08.

  • Thank you for your report. An Engineer has visited site and checked/reset the junctions vehicle detection. No problems were observed during the Engineers visits. We will continue to monitor the site.
