Hedges obstructing the pavement

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 14:49, Friday 28 July 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Overgrown hedges and small trees are obstructing the pavement on Church Street, West Hanney on either side of the entrance to Monks Close. This obstruction is forcing pedestrians into the road and affecting road safety. The problem has recently been brought to my attention and has probably got worse over the past 3 months.

  • This has not been fixed , Monks Close belongs to a Housing Association in Oxford and nothing to do with Vale of white Horse or West Hanney PC. This has now become a danger and needs to be fixed please, can you help?

  • Only part of this problem has been fixed, the vegetation is still obstructing the foot path on Church Street from the back of the Houses ( 3 in number ) that face onto Church Street. As West Hanney with East Hanney are holding a Michaelmas Fayre on 30th September there will be quite a number on people around, I would be very grateful if something can be done before then. The Fayre is being held in the Church and on The Green in West Hanney.
