Overgrown path.

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 19:04, Mon 24 July 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Reiterating previous comments. The shared user path between Benson and Agrivert site is severely overgrown from the Benson end. It appears that the grass has encroached on the path over a number of years meaning the path is barely a single track in some points. It appears the tarmac is much wider than what is visible/usable. Whilst cycling, I met a pedestrian and the only way to pass was to go into the nettles and undergrowth. To help promote more sustainable transport, can the council invest in clearing this path to make so that two users can pass safely and therefore making it a practical and safe route for both cycles and pedestrians along what is a busy A road. On the basis of the increased population of Benson this should encourage more residents to cycle to Wallingford as opposed to driving.
