Overgrown cycle path rendering the path unsafe.

The path running from the M40 roundabout onto the A422 (juc11) leading towards Middleton Cheney has become so overgrown it is rendering the path unsafe and is forcing riders onto roads. This road is the busy duel carriage way A422. Other options are narrow country lanes that are used as 'rat runs' by motor traffic. Can there be a mowing regime be implemented on this path? The issue is present year round and when it has rained the undergrowth hangs low snagging and catching the handle bars.
