Signage and mirror required on blind bend

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 21:22, Sat 1 July 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a blind bend on the A361 as well as several houses with driveways onto the carriageway. It is nigh on impossible to pull out of the driveways at these houses safely - it has to be done purely on winding down a window and listening and with electric cars becoming ever quieter, this is starting to fail more and more often. Cars often come around the corner well above the speed limit, also making it impossible to predict when something is coming. We are asking for a mirror opposite the house to improve visibility down the road. Secondly, we would like to ask for a 'Concealed Exits' sign to be installed on the Northbound side of the road so that drivers round the bend with some expectation of a car pulling out. There is an ever increasing number of 'near misses' and it is only a matter of time before there is an accident here. I am particularly worried about motorcycles which are difficult to hear and round the bend tight to the kerb.
