Highway and verge damage

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

The volume of traffic along Buscot Wick lane has destroyed most of the grass verges along the whole length of the road. The road edges are now crumbling and being worn away. Severe damage to vehicle created passing places, road is now very damaged.

  • Thank you for your report. We have assessed the area highlighted and currently this doesn't meet the criteria for intervention. We've added this location to our forward programming list as more substantial repairs could be considered in the future. We will continue to monitor the area for future defects via our statutory inspections.
