Overhanging hedges and tree branches blocking parking area

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Trees and vegetation along the car parking area on the left on the one way system going down the hill towards Lower Minster Lovell along the old A40 need cutting back. This is because this is becoming so intrusive into the car parking spaces that it is preventing people parking . If people park further out into the road it's dangerous as people walk down to the ruins in Old Minster, but there are no pavements so they are very close to cars. This is the only way in for coaches too so it's an issue. The road is unnamed but its on the one way system down the hill off the B4047.

  • Thank you for your report. We have assessed the area highlighted and currently this doesn't meet the criteria for intervention. We've added this location to our forward programming list as more substantial repairs could be considered in the future. We will continue to monitor the area for future defects via our statutory inspections.
