Nettles encroaching on track

Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 13:09, Sat 24 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The old road, now used as a cycle track, is very overgrown (down to about a foot wide in places) and the nettles are growing over the cycle track making using it difficult.

Council ref: 4711369

  • I've now attached a photo of the cycle path in this section. As you can see, what was once a single lane carriageway has now been reduced to approx. 300mm in width by the nettles etc. Does OCC not have a program of regular maintenance for cycle lanes? It's safer to now continue down to the junction and use the main roads.
