Ancient Tempory iron bridge showing signs of decay
Reported via mobile in the Bridges category by Mr Martin A Jones at 23:23, Friday 23 June 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
The bridge is an ancient steel bridge built in the Victorian times. Its not fit to take the HGV traffic that has been using the road as a short cut/access to a commercial site. It's showing serious signs of decay underneath and shrinkage on the surface... My concern is that if the HGV traffic continues it will collapse and cause a serious, life threatening incident. It probably needs an immediate weight limit putting in place.
