Alleyway is so overgrown it’s hard to pass without getting caught on brambles and is very sloppy when wet as leaves have not been cleared this year.

Alleyway is even more overgrown now. The pathway is restricted making it difficult to take a pushchair down it or to use an umbrella when walking through.

Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. In this instance the highway does appear to be obstructed from full use. The land/property owner will be contacted and if action is not untaken we will follow up accordingly.
