Half of the pavement lost to long term growth

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 17:31, Friday 23 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I have revealed where the original pavement ran back to along the Wootton Road. This route is now impassable by wheelchair or mobility scooter. School pupils regularly walk in the road rather than single file.

Please now cut the hedge back to its original place and reclaim the pavement. Full distance from Boxhill walk to the beginning of the original wall for Bath St.

Council ref: ENQ23966635

  • There is also a substantial low hanging branch on this section of road and you have to walk in the road to avoid it. It is a thorny branch so difficult to move out of the way.

  • Sorry no more budget for pavements. All been spent on pointless LTNs and 20mph limits that nobody wants. There are the only council approved way of increasing walking.

  • I see someone has very kindly cut back the branch I referenced? If that was you, thank you very much! Is it Hector??
