No entry sign for Witney Street

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings category by Kenneth W Gray at 18:50, Fri 23 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The electricity power to the no entry post is missing. The light fitting had been rotated by a vehicle. The electricity powers the sign light but also an ANPR camera used by the police and Burford Town Council (who both need the power being reconnected) Ken Gray

Council ref: ENQ23966647

  • When are you going to return power to lamppost? Need light on no entry sign and power to ANPR camera used by police and Council. It’s been a month since you were informed Ken Gray

  • Amazingly you have not fixed this fault which occured in May of this year, four months ago. The No Entry sign is unlit at night. The ANPR camera has missed two vehicles involved in burglaries and other Burford Town Council issues. It must be urgently fixed. Volker inspected the lamppost over a month ago (in my presence) and said that there was no power getting to the lamppost and thus it was an SSE issue (who for domestic issues fixes it in days). Can you please fix quickly. Please give it higher priority. Kenneth Gray
