Surface Water Drain not draining

The Surface water drain on the outside of the bend is not draining correctly. It is incredibly slow and the surface water is across the road in heavy rain. It then takes hours to drain after rain has finished - other drains in same back-alley are working ok so believe this one needs jetting or similar.

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy and we operate a targeting programme with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding.
