Streetlight is not in use

Streetlight outside St Jospeh's Catholic CHurch, Brook Lane is not in use and has been as shown in the photo for a long time now.

  • Apologies this is taking longer than usual. We are in the process of changing the column but there is an electrical service fault on the cable, which the electricity company needs to repair first. As soon as this is done we can get the light working again.

  • As evenings are now dark this is becoming a problem for people using the school and church car park in the evening. Cars driving into the car park do not always notice pedestrians dressed in dark colours, especially if there are no lights on in the church itself, and pedestrians walking down the lane are also at risk.
