Yet again the road and pavement is seriously flooded within minutes of today’s storm. Yet again we cannot enter/exit our property without wearing wellies, we cannot use our front garden due to vehicles driving through the flood water and it coming over our 6ft perimeter wall and said wall is getting damaged by the continual wash caused by cars going through the flood water. I have complained about this so many times now and no one has had the decency to contact me about it. Two years ago we were told by one of OCC’s engineers that work to rectify the problems with the drains would commence in July 2021. We are still waiting for this work to be carried out. This whole situation is ridiculous - EVERY single time it rains, we suffer huge inconvenience, damage to our property and the risk of flooding. When will someone take this complaint seriously and carry out the work needed to rectify this serious problem?
