Minty's Beds sign has been chained to the road sign on the island to the left in the photo. It is blocking sight lines as you drive out from North Hinksey Lane on to West Way, which will lead to an accident, please can you ask them to remove it.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map in North Hinksey Lane (West branch), West Way junction, see photos, and assessed the "Illegal Advertising......Minty's Beds sign......blocking sight lines" issue you have identified. I have requested a 28 day notice be sent to the owners to remove their advertising board that is obstructing our North Hinksey Lane, West Way junction visibility/sight lines.

  • Thank you for your report. I have re-visited this site and noted that the owners of this advertising board that was obstructing our North Hinksey Lane, West Way junction visibility/sight lines, have now removed it from this location, see latest photos. We have also made an agreement with Minty that their sign can remain at the following location, in front of 27 West Way, North Hinksey Lane, see latest photos, where it is not obstructing drivers visibility, until the works at the railway have been completed and the Botley Road closure has been lifted. I am therefore closing this report.
