Large tree is covering the whole of the street light

The Tree and the light is at the entrance into Arndale Beck from Trent Road. The foliage and size of the tree has become such that there is no light visible at night time. This makes it dangerous for walkers, cars and general security.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The location has been assessed. Upon inspection an ash tree was found to be covering the street lamp in this location. The tree is not in the ownership or management of Oxfordshire County Council. Therefore we will conduct a land search to ascertain who is responsible for the tree and then write to the tree owner inform cutting back operations need to be conducted. If this doesn't happen within good time Oxfordshire County Council will conduct a cut back. Thank you for highlighting this issue.
