High Grass Verges - Dangerous Cycling

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Dangerous high grass verges on Cycle path A40 Wovercote to Eynsham. Track is not wide enough to pass other cyclist. I got my peddle caught in the overgrown verge while keeping to one side to pass, it got caught, but luckily I did not fall off this time. In places it is almost meeting each side of the track.

  • I notice this morning that this has now been cut in June. Should have been cut in May regardless of No Mow May for safety reasons. This fix my street is therefore no longer required.
