High Grass Verge - Cycle Track

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Grass verge A40 has been allowed to grow too high at rear of Downside End, needs cutting at least 1m in from cycle track. This is a marked " walk to School Route" and is being neglected to the poiint in a months time it will be almost on impassable. This area is dark in the evenings and with no visability towards the A40 is a potential safety and security risk for anyone transiting along this shared cycle path.

  • Thank you for your report. The grass cutting operations for visibility splays at junctions is currently underway and should be complete by the end of May. All other urban and rural grass cutting operations will commence from June.
