Dangerous parking

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 17:23, Mon 5 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A very large recovery truck frequently parks very close to the junction, which forces drivers to go on to the other side of the road right where the junction turning is, thereby causing zero visibility to both drivers turning into the road and those wanting to pull out. I very nearly had a 3 car collision this evening due to this dangerous parking which blocks all visibility. Often the same household will park a car ahead of the truck as well, which only leaves the wrong side of the road as an option.

  • The registration plate is MT19 UBL. Where they constantly park the pavement has also collapsed due to the weight of the vehicle on an unsuitable residential path, causing a large hole.
