Confusing new "No Cycling" signs

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 15:02, Sun 4 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Hello

Some new No Cycling signs have been put up between the Miller and Carter traffic lights and the Isilp/A34 roundabout. It is not clear whether these mean no cycling on the road or no cycling on the footpath. Two signs are on the road side of the footpath and one on the hedge side. There is another pre-existing No Cycling sign at the entrance to the path to Queens Avenue, one new sign has been put up close to this which adds to the confusion.

I hope this is a helpful comment.

If it is no cycling on the road, should there be a blue cycle/pedestrian sign for the pavement?

It would be good if this could be sorted, especially as it is a national cycle route.

Thanks
