On the way to Oxford, just past a bend in the road. Looks like a mark on the road surface but obviously isn't. Caught my bike front wheel, crashed me into the wooden fence at the roadside, 3 ft from kerb. I ended up with deeply lacerated finger needing 6 stitches, various other cuts, abrasions and bruises as well as a visit to A&E. Don't know how long is Ben there but one of the local residents says it's been quite a while and has been reported before.
