Danger to road users

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:39, Sun 4 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

To claim that the state of the highway as 'minor' is an insult to the rate payers of this County. The road in question is the main artillery route from London into our City, yet this is the first view of it they see on entering, yet the Council happy to leave this weeks and months. The state of the highway here on London Road not only dangerous, but a disgrace and something Sean Rooney needs to address instead of posting videos claiming the Council are doing everything it can given the resources available to them. The inefficiency of ODS is clear for everyone to see, and it's about time ODS either stepped up, or moved aside. OCC's revenue receipts are currently higher than they have 'ever' been, so claims the Council do not have funds is a red hearing, this whilst they remove the issuing of residential permits in Oxford so residents cannot now identify and report illegally park vehicles which will by result loss tens of thousands of pounds in revenue which otherwise could have been used to maintain our streets.
