Surface water under the railway bridge
Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 08:48, Sun 4 June 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
*Thames Water have investigated ref: 378239*There is surface water under the railway bridge but it is not coming from our pumping station - It looks like it's coming from a new housing estate opposite our site It may be that during the excavations there, an underground spring may have been disturbed, causing a slow trickle of water to pool under the railway bridge. This would need to be passed to the local authority Oxfordshire County Council to investigate.

I was going to report this issue myself. The flow of water is more widespread and covering the entire road. It hasn't rained for roughly a week and the water is still there. Cold weather is on the way and the route underneath the railway bridge will be very dangerous when it becomes icy. Can this please be investigated quickly?
