Closure of Public Footpath

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Part of the public footpath running from Charbridge Lane running parallel to Gavray Drive has been blocked by contractors with Herris fencing across the footpath - (through the woodlands). There is no signage either end of the footpath, therefore walkers have no option but to turn back. Has this closure been authorized and if so why isn't their signage as was been done when the EWR contractors needed to close nearby footpaths?
