Potholes in Evans Road & John Lopes Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:12, Saturday 3 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I was pleased to see the pothole outside 20 Evans Road had recently been filled in, but others nearby (e.g. outside Nos 48, 16 & 21 have been left, even though they had been outlined in white paint some time ago. The two in John Lopes Road have been there for so long that the white marks surrounding them have faded. As a cyclist (as well as a motorist) I find these really hazardous. Recently as I cycled up John Lopes Road late one evening I was avoiding the pothole (see photo) but skidded and was nearly thrown off by loose stones that had come out of the hole. Fortunately I was able to avoid falling but others may not be so fortunate.
