Deep pothole outside 117 Banbury Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 06:34, Saturday 3 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This had been a problem for some time. The drain cover seems to be sinking further and pulling down / cracking the tarmac around. This is dangerous because if a cyclist hit it, they could be thrown off into the path of a bus. I know its there and normally I avoid it but a lapse in concentration last week meant I nearly hit it. There are several other pothole problems for cyclists heading north between Bevington Road and the excellent new cycle lane surface at Summertown, but this is the worst. Thank you.
