Grass very long

Grass on HMPE land has already not been cut since midsummer last year. It surely cannot be left for another year under the Council's new maintenance policy? Is a late summer cut to be carried out?

  • Previously reported under 4619676 but action closed referring us to Council's policy on verge maintenance in 2023. This area is not a verge but a very large area of lawn which the Council has now mown since late summer 2022. Is the suggestion now that there will be no cutting in 2023?

  • Thank you for your report. I believe that there will be a cutting at the end of this Summer (2023). This has been forwarded to the team for their attention, including the mentioned junction onto Marston Ferry road.
