Trees restricting path

Reported via desktop in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 14:21, Thu 1 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The trees and bushes alongside the pathway through from Radley Road to The Warren, alongside St. Edmunds School are getting very overgrown and preventing safe use of the path. You can see where people are walking on the grass rather than the path to avoid some of the growth.

Council ref: ENQ23963812

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the location and assessed the trees. The trees are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense and therefore, Oxfordshire County Council do not have responsibility for the trees as local highway authority. I believe the tree may be the responsibility of the Vale of White Horse District Council and therefore you should contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
