Sub station fencing failing
Reported via mobile anonymously at 13:40, Thursday 1 June 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later
Hello, I’ve been watching this deteriorate for several years and am now concerned that the fencing around this sub station is inadequate to stop folks entering. Several planks are missing or failed. The fence is falling over in places.

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in front of the Electricity sub station, on the West side of 151 Cumnor Hill, Cumnor.
The fencing, that is around this SSE electricity substation, is not encroaching on, or obstructing, our Oxfordshire County Council Footway or verge (service strip) and does not appear to be a danger to the public, see photos.
Any concerns should be directed to the Electricity company and not the highway authority, who are not responsible for this structure. I am therefore closing this report.
