Loose gravel on cycle path

Due to the road top dressing there is loose gravel on the cycle path. This make it dangerous to cyclists who are liable to skid on this, straight into a national speed limit road (as none of the vehicles stick to the 20 mph limit currently in place). This is made even worse by the overgrown vegetation.

  • Thank you for your report. The grass cutting operations for visibility splays at junctions is currently underway and should be complete by the end of May. All other urban and rural grass cutting operations will commence from June. For road/footpath sweeping please report this to Biffa who will arrange a sweeper in the area. Regards
