Grass cutting

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

Currently the Parish Council are paying Henley TC to cut this area of grass to maintain road safety of the junction. However, we are now aware that this section of land is OCC highways land/responsibility. Please contact the clerk to confirm that OCC will now continue the mowing of this area. thank you parishclerk@bixandassendon.org.uk

  • Thank you for your enquiry Many areas of grass are cut by Town, Parish or other bodies and we have agreements in place with many of them for the highway verges to be cut by those organisations at the same time. These agreements only fund two cuts a year and those still cut by OCC are only cut annually between May and August.
